Man Freed on Bail After Incest Charge with His Half-Sister
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 45-year-old man who was arraigned for incest after his 22-year-old half-sister accused him of rape has been freed on bail.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 45-year-old man who was arraigned for incest after his 22-year-old half-sister accused him of rape has been freed on bail.
Prosecutors said the man raped his sister on October 15.
The man, whose name has been withheld to protect his sister’s privacy, spent over two weeks on remand before he was granted $9,900 bail by Justice Jeanine Weech-Gomez.
As a condition of his release, the man has to sign in at East Street South Police Station weekly.
He has also been told to stay away from his alleged victim and other witnesses.
