NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The cries of loved ones rang out on Eden Street Thursday night as family members received the devastating news that their loved one had been killed.

His death marked the second shooting since Monday and the ninth in eight days.

Police tell Our News that shortly before 7pm, they were alerted to multiple gunshots on Flamingo Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man dead in the road.

The brother, however managed to escape with minor injuries, including a bullet wound to his arm.

At the scene, a black Toyota Vitz was found, which family members confirmed was driven by the victim.

Moments after the shots were fired, Our News captured video of a man being arrested on the second floor of a yellow apartment building on Foster Street, just around the corner from the deadly shooting.

We questioned police about a possible connection between the two incidents.
