Man On Bail For Three Murders And Two Attempted Murders, Accused Of More Crimes

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of committing more crimes while awaiting trial for three murders and two attempted murders has been jailed for four years for failing to comply with the conditions of bail.

32-year-old Hartman Rolle was supposed to check in at the Paradise Island police station three times a week while on bail for three murders and two attempted murders.

Rolle missed 90 court-ordered check-ins between January 5 and July 31.

What’s more, prosecutors allege that Rolle is responsible for the attempted murders of Tyron Neely and Amalia Charlton on August 2.

The following day, police officers allegedly found Rolle with two assault rifles and 38 rounds of ammunition.

Rolle pleaded guilty to violating his bail conditions and denied the firearms and ammunition charges when he appeared before magistrate Abigail Farrington.

He was not asked to enter a plea to the attempted murder charges.

Rolle returns to court on November 12.
