EXUMA, BAHAMAS – A man arrested during an attempted murder investigation has pleaded guilty to having an unlicensed gun.

Police arrested 21-year-old Crestwell Farrington after he was found with a pistol with a defaced serial number on Christmas Day.

At the time of his arrest, Farrington was a person of interest in the shooting of three men in Moss Town, Exuma.

Farrington pleaded guilty to possession of an unlicensed firearm at his arraignment before administrator Cristian Palacious.

She remanded him into custody and Farrington is expected to appear before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on Monday for sentencing.
