UNITED STATES – A man who used AI technology to create indecent images of children is set to be jailed in a “landmark case,” according to police.
UNITED STATES – A man who used AI technology to create indecent images of children is set to be jailed in a “landmark case,” according to police.
27-year-old Hugh Nelson pleaded guilty to 11 offences at Bolton Crown Court, including inciting a boy under 16 to engage in a sexual act, distributing and making indecent images, and possessing prohibited images.
He also admitted to publishing obscene material and distributing AI-generated indecent images of children.
His sentencing is scheduled for September 25.
