Sixty-one-year-old Ernest Thompson told appellate court justices that he had changed his mind when they called his matter today.
Thompson was handed the sentence on January 7 after he admitted to touching a 15-year-old girl’s breast while she attended the New Year’s Day Junkanoo Parade.
Senior Magistrate Samuel McKinney denied Thompson’s request for probation as he had previously served a four-year sentence for rape.
