ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA – Antigua and Barbuda’s Cabinet has decided to bring in Scotland Yard to investigate the stabbing death of a Member of Parliament.

Independent lawmaker ASOT Michael was found stabbed to death and lying in a pool of blood in his home on Tuesday.

The 54-year-old was the representative for the country’s St Peter constituency.

His death sent shock waves across the Caribbean Island where Michael had previously served as Tourism, Economic Development and Energy Minister.

The police told the media that they questioned multiple people.
