NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three men on bail are back behind bars in connection with a recent murder.

Prosecutors arraigned Cowpen Road residents Ahmad Clarke, Ashton Wilson and Omar Atkinson with the October 29 shooting death of Fred Lifaite at Six Street, Coconut Grove.

Police said Lifaite, who was on bail for the 2021 murder of Kendino McDonald, was gunned down by the occupants of a silver car.

Like their alleged victim, the accused killers were also on bail when they allegedly reoffended.

Clarke is on bail for two murders and Wilson and Atkinson are on bail for attempted murder.

They were not required to enter pleas to the murder charge when they stood before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr, and were denied bail.

The accused killers return to court on February 9.
