58-Year-Old Denied Bail for Raping Minor
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 58-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of raping a minor seven years ago.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 58-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of raping a minor seven years ago.
Prosecutors allege that Wrenville Barr, of McQuay Street, raped an 11-year-old girl in 2015.
The alleged victim is now 18 and the matter was recently reported to the police.
Barr didn’t have to enter a plea to the allegation when he appeared before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.
Bail was denied and he returns to court on January 30, 2023 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment.
