Mets, Yankees Win Game One In Divisional Matchups

NEW YORK, USA – Mets first base coach Antoan Richardson’s team started the evening off with a big 6-2 upset over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Brandon Nimmo did the heavy lifting on offense with a couple of singles and a couple of RBI.

Over in the Bronx, Yankees third baseman Jazz Chisholm used his speed on the bags to secure the win for the yanks.

He went 1-4 with a single. But with the game tied in the bottom of the 7th inning, he hit a single, stole second then beat the throw home on an Alex Verdugo single to right field to score the go-head run for the yankees to get the 6-5 win.

Bahamians Hit The Gridiron And Court

Prince Strachan had what was easily his best game of the season as his Boise State Broncos smashed the Utah State Aggies 62-30 in their first game in the mountain west.

Prince had 4 catches for 58 yards in the win.

His teammate happens to be ashton jeanty, the best running back in the country. He had 13 carries for a jaw-dropping 186 yards.

Meanwhile, over in the NBA, a couple of Bahamians played in a preseason game.

Kai Jones and his LA Clippers played Buddy Hield’s Golden State Warriors.

Kai had 4 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in 22 minutes. While Buddy had 5 points in 17 minutes. They both came off the bench.

Buddy and the Dubs got the win 91-90.
