NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After the recent comments from former Attorney General, Allyson Maynard-Gibson pushing for more women in politics, Education Minister Glenys Hanna-Martin is echoing the concern.

Our News asked her what can be done to address the imbalance in parliament. Hanna-Martin stresses that it’s not just for the sake of equality.

She says women having more of a voice in the process of developing legislation is necessary for the integrity of the politics.
