NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While the cost of living may be going up, so are the ambitions of young people.

Members of The Bahamas Real Estate Association say when it comes to current trends in the housing market, more young people are making investments in homes.

According to President of The Bahamas Real Estate Association, Nikki Beouf, she’s happy to see more young people interested in homeownership despite the global rise in the cost of living And building.

If you plan on going the route of an investment property, BREA member Philip Kemp says financing is key.

Purchasing a home can easily be one of the biggest investments you will make in your lifetime.

Beouf recommends doing a lot of research before taking that leap.

Step number one, find out how much money you qualify for at a lending institution.

Beouf also recommends having like-minded friends.
