NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Loved ones of the late Kenise Darville gathering last evening to remember the young wife and mother of three who died last month in Princess Margaret Hospital.

Darville was admitted to PMH on January 2, after experiencing severe pain and died a little over two weeks later.

Before her untimely death, she took to social media on January 11 bringing light to the situation, which sparked national attention to reports of alleged negligence at PMH, and the dire need for blood in the hospital’s blood bank.

Darville’s cousin, Italia Wilson said they thought to honor her in a special way.

Wilson says they believe Darville’s death will ignite change in the public health care system and it is her family’s hope that what happened to her will not happen again.
