Murder Suspect Gets $30K Bail After Court Finds No Evidence He Would Flee
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Court of Appeal has granted $30,000 bail to a man accused of murder, after finding there was no evidence to support a supreme court judge’s belief that he would abscond and interfere with witnesses.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Court of Appeal has granted $30,000 bail to a man accused of murder, after finding there was no evidence to support a supreme court judge’s belief that he would abscond and interfere with witnesses.
Prosecutors say Jermaine Noulus is responsible for the July 18th, 2025 fatal shooting of Jimmy Laurenville at West Street.
According to police, Laurenville was getting water from a pump on West Street when a gunman alleged to be Noulus shot him multiple times.
Under the conditions of his bail, Noulus has to wear an ankle monitor, keep a curfew, sign in at a police station, and have no deliberate contact with the prosecution’s witnesses.
