NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Tommy Stubbs’ Bahamas events and sports company is putting it all on the line with the first annual Grace and Glory gospel music competition.

The competition is set to run for just over five weeks – beginning November 1, with the grand finale on December 10th.

Forty church choirs and 40 soloists will compete over four levels – from preliminaries to finals, with one choir and soloist standing out as the best gospel singers in The Bahamas.

Stubbs says he and his team are doing their part to highlight more of the things that bring out the best in the nation.

The event – sponsored by Fusion Superplex and Button’s Formal Wear – features the $10,000 Dr. Richard E. Dean choir award prize and the $1,000 Samuel C. Stubbs soloist award.

Fusion CEO Carlos Foulkes says the competition will be a springboard for gospel artists – a way to sing their praises and potentially pave the way to a career.

For those wondering, Foulkes says there are no restrictions on how winners can use the cash.

The registration deadline is October 27.

Visit www.Bahamasevents.net or email events@fusionsuperplex.com to secure your spot and visit fusion for information on tickets.
