NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Paradise harbor coming alive this week, with numerous local and international chef’s offering hundreds of attendees their rendition of the famous taco dish.

From the traditional chicken or beef taco, to sushi tacos, wild boar and one of my favorites from the event, oxtail.

Hosting the event, award winning chef Andrew Zimmern.

During a conversation I found out that he started coming to The Bahamas as a young boy.

He professes that the flavors of the islands play a significant role in his culinary career.

And after all of those tacos it’s only right we try the tequila mixes.

Not too much as the mixologist created the cocktails with a blend so perfect, you almost couldn’t detect the tequila.

To cap the night, the event’s co-host celebrity DJ, DJ Kim Lee set the night ablaze with music to satisfied everyone’s taste.
