NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Friday was a big night for Bahamian NBA players Klay Thompson, Buddy Hield and Deandre Ayton as they all collected wins.

Klay Thompson scored 31 points on 11 of 18 shooting as his Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 130-115.

Thompson added 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal and he hit 11 of his 18 shot attempts, making 7 of 14 from three.

His brother-in-splash, Steph Curry led the Dubs with 33. The win puts them at 6th in the Western Conference, firmly in the playoff picture.

Buddy Hield scored 13 off the bench as his Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-117.

Buddy made 5 of his 12 shot attempts adding 5 assists and 2 rebounds while making 3 of his 8 three-point shots.

TJ McConnell led the Pacers in scoring off the bench with 21 points. He also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists. The Pacers are 12th in the East with their playoff window quickly closing.

Deandre Ayton scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as his Phoenix Suns beat the Denver Nuggets 100-93.

Ayton has seen his usage rate decline as the team tries to integrate two-time finals MVP Kevin Durant into the offense. It did not help that he was in foul trouble all night. Despite these setbacks, Ayton still managed to do Ayton things.

The Suns currently sit at 4th in the Western Conference and the win is big for them as it gives them an edge while taking the first-place Nuggets down a notch.

Kai Jones of the woebegone Charlotte Hornets got into the game last night. The Nassau-born 7-foot-tall pogo stick scored 3 points, grabbed 2 boards, dished out 2 assists and had a block and a steal apiece as his team lost to the Bulls 121-91.

He did manage to do this

This season has been a lost one for the Hornets. Hopefully, Kai can get traded to a real NBA team.
