NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Six new Bahamian ambassadors were commissioned yesterday as part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diplomatic Week 2022. 

Following their commissioning, each new ambassador gave remarks expressing goals and thanks for their new roles.

Alfred Gray, our new Ambassador to Canada has an ambitious list of things he hopes to achieve.

Cheryl Bazard, our new Ambassador to Belgium and Head of Mission to the European Union wishes to grow our connection with financial services.

Sharon Wilson, our new Ambassador to Mexico also shared hopes for strengthening relations between the countries’ tourism and financial services industries.

And, Paul Rolle, our new Ambassador to the International Maritime Organization detailed his interest in regrowing the Bahamian maritime industry to its former glory.

Cedric Scott, our new Ambassador to Japan expressed his excitement in continuing to strengthen our relationship with Japan.
