NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The government is receiving consultation for new building codes in the country, according to Minister of Works and Utilities Alfred Sears.

The decision was made so homes can have a better chance of withstanding storms like hurricane Dorian which ravaged Abaco and parts of Grand Bahama.
