NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Several churches are joining forces in a newly launched fellowship. Their goal? To have a greater impact on communities across the island.

Kingdom Connect Fellowship Founder Apostle Raymond Wells says the new fellowship will advance the the Kingdom of God, but what will that mean for the local community?

Wells says the plan is to have a bigger footprint in the community.

A part of the the plan is to also empower leaders, while focusing on families.

Wells says their work is more important than ever as more men are being lost to gun violence.

Just recently, the murder count hit triple digits last week and over the weekend, three were brutally killed. It doesn’t stop there. A bus driver was also killed in broad daylight on Tuesday October 4th.

Violence is also reaching the school yard. A few weeks back, a teen boy was stabbed at Anatol Rodgers High School during a lunchtime brawl.

The fellowships launch is slated for this Friday at Living Waters Kingdom Ministries.

At the moment, at least 12 local pastors will be a part of the fellowship, including pastors from the United States who will be tuning in virtually.
