Nine Harbour Island Businesses Being Audited

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Our News broke the story of the Department of Inland Revenue’s sweep of several businesses in Harbour Island last week, officials giving new numbers relating to their investigations.

Acting Controller in the Department of Inland Revenue, Shunda Strachan says nine businesses are being audited on Harbour Island and three on mainland Eleuthera, but the acting controller says the exercise is not limited to the area.

She says more is on the way for other Family Islands.
