NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Wildcats went up against the University of Memphis Tigers in the B4A final Friday, prevailing 79-63.

The Cats led for most of the game, going up by as much 31 points at the beginning of the first half.

Nova shared the love offensively with all starters, in double-digits. Tournament MVP Eric Dixon had 11 points and TJ Bamba led the team with 13. They locked up defensively, holding Memphis to 35% shooting from the field and 28% from three.

Memphis did manage to go on a furious run in the second half, bringing the game to within 13 points, but Nova was able to withstand and put the Tigers away.

This B4A victory is the first for second-year Nova Head Coach Kyle Neptune and the third for the Cats, in three tournament appearances. The last time they won the battle, in 2017, they would go on to finish the season as NCAA national champs.

Let’s see if they can keep that trend going.
