His career highlights include six-time Pro Bowler, four time all pro, AFC Champion, NFL receiving yards leader and much more.

Recently the former athlete secured another career touchdown by pivoting to the role of Media personality. Currently he is a panelist on the show inside the NFL and a co-host on the viral podcast nightcap with former NFL player Shannon Sharpe.

But amongst all of his accolades, he says having Bahamian heritage is one of those he’s most proud of.

“I love my valley I love em’ you know to death and I know somethings a little rocky right now and the sides have split up I think it’s much more difficult than saying hey you guys just get back together at some point I’m looking to sit down with both governing bodies and find a way to rectify the situation cause we’re going to win whether it be boxing day and get back to our winning ways whether it be boxing day whether it be new years or in July we have to be one we’re more powerful as one having everyone split up we’re not gone get it done I love the Saxons I love the roots I love one family all of them but I’m valley till death,” says Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson – former NFL player

Beyond Junkanoo, Chad says it is his passion to establish a strong presence in the local community investing in the country through initiatives ultimately playing his position in becoming a true Bahamian.
