NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On Tuesday, May 28th off duty Sergeant Kendal Campbell was traveling on Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge to drop off a report at the Paradise Island Police Station where he’s assigned.

That’s when he noticed a man who looked visibly distressed sitting on the bridge’s guardrails.

It was the man’s cries of despair that touched Officer Campbell making it more important than ever to save his life.

Campbell was emotional sharing he too has faced challenges that’s left him feeling hopeless.

This remarkable display of courage and compassion serves as a reminder of the selflessness that defines our bravest men and women in uniform.
