NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Scores of people attend a candlelight vigil for Omar Davis Jr. in the Kemp road community last night. At the event, family, friends and well wishers spent the evening reflecting on his life.

The crowd gathering outside of the Pilgrim Baptist Temple in the Kemp Road community, where Davis spent much of his childhood.

The group singing songs of praise as loved ones reflected on the life of Omar Davis Jr.

Davis’ aunt, Patty McKenzie says he was a young man who made her proud.

Davis’ friend, Jordan Clarke describes him as one of kind.

Another aunt, Shaniese Rahming says the support from the community is overwhelming.

Pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Temple Leroy Major telling the crowd about his relationship with Davis and the fact that Davis was an active member of the church.
