One Family Junkanoo Group Inducts New Slate Of Section Leaders
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ahead of the official Junkanoo season, One Family Junkanoo group inducting a slate of new section leaders.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ahead of the official Junkanoo season, One Family Junkanoo group inducting a slate of new section leaders. The organization’s 8th chairman was also sworn in.
The One Family Junkanoo group inducted their new steering committee and eight chairmen on Thursday evening at the National Art Gallery.
During this ceremony, past chairmen of the group were first recognized and given awards of appreciation.
A special prayer was lifted for immediate past chairmen Christina “Muffin” Fernander and her family in her absence.
Standing on the shoulders of all who came before him newly elected chairman Vernon Rolle says he plans to continue to strengthen the group and ensure the message of cultural unification is spread throughout the country.
