NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Water and Sewerage Corporation in North Andros has also been affected by the fire that destroyed BPL’s North Andros power plant. However, an official says millions of gallons of water are in their reserve.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Water and Sewerage Corporation in North Andros has also been affected by the fire that destroyed BPL’s North Andros power plant.
It slowed the production of water at the North Andros main station.
Assistant General Manager for the Family Islands at the corporation Gregory Stubbs says despite the disruption, millions of gallons of water are in their reserve.
To avoid such a disruption again, Stubbs says a contingency plan is in place.
