Pair Face Charges Connected to Rosedale Street Bar Shooting

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man and a woman are behind bars in connection to shooting that stemmed from an argument.

Prosecutor say 39-year-old Felicia Pinder called 31-year-old Venel Saintamar after she got into a row with a man while at a bar on Rosedale Street on Janaury 3.

When he arrived, Saintamar  allegedly shot at Cairo Greene and Andre Thompson.

Pinder is charged with abetment to attempted murder, while Saintemar is accused of attempted murder.

They were not required to enter pleas to the charges when they appeared before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr

Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to April 1 for the presentation of voluntary bill of indictment papers.
