Parliamentarians Remember Fmr. Police Commissioner

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Retired Police Commissioner and former High Commissioner Paul Farquharson died on Monday. He was 74.

The former Police Chief had a decorated career in law enforcement serving for 40 years before his retirement in 2008.

The same year, he was appointed High Commissioner to London and held numerous other posts.

Parliamentarians sent condolences to his family and remembered his life, yesterday.

Among them, Golden Gates MP Pia Glover-Rolle who recalled the support he pledged ahead of and following her election victory.

Opposition Leader and Marco City MP Michael Pintard also took a moment to remember Farquharson.
