Peruvian Man Found with Ancient Mummy

PERU – Police in Peru say they found an ancient mummy in a delivery man’s bag while doing a routine patrol.

Officer say they decided to search his bag after he was allegedly acting drunk at an archaeological site in Puno.

The mummy, which experts believe was between 600 to 800 years old, was found in the man’s cooler bag. He told police that he had been sharing his room with the mummy and thought of it as his “spiritual girlfriend”.

When asked where he got it, he told police it was previously owned by his dad but didn’t say how it came to be in his dad’s possession.

Experts discovered the mummy was actually an adult male. The man has been detained and is currently being investigated.
