NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Royal Caribbean International’s beach club project on Paradise Island may have the green light, but there’s one high ranking Progressive Liberal Party cabinet minister who is still against the project.

Education minister Glenys Hanna Martin called the project “hare-brained” back in 2021 and says the reasoning behind the project is flawed.

While in Opposition, Hanna-Martin questioned why “a Bahamian was apparently kicked to the curb”. She shared similar sentiments today, but her biggest concern is the use of crown land.
