NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prime Minister Philip Davis is hitting back at critics who are not pleased with the PM’s recent announcement that his administration will borrow money to fund a new airport on Cat Island.

Ground was broken for a new airport in New Bight Cat Island last week.

However it seems funding for the project is up in the air.

In fact, Prime Minister Philip Davis, who serves as the island’s Member of Parliament, said the project could cost up to 17 million dollars but that money would have to be borrowed.
