NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prime Minister Philip Davis hitting back at Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard following the announcement that an increase to the National Insurance Board rate will take effect on July 1, 2024.

According to the Prime Minister, Pintard’s statement implied it will inflict pain on Bahamians.

Davis stressing to parliamentarians that it isn’t a tax.

The opposition leader quickly rose to his feet on a point of order saying the prime minister misrepresented his statement on the matter.
