NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A shocking murder Monday night rocked the capital with fear as a 30-year-old man was gunned down on Munnings Drive off of Gladstone Road.

A bullet ridden car, and another charred truck nearby tells the story.

Sources telling our News the victim is Daran Neely, the alleged leader of the Dirty South Gang who’s had previous run ins with the law, though police not confirming Neely was the victim.

Prime Minister Philip Davis tells me he understands the fear Monday night’s murder can bring.

This shocking crime comes less than 72 hours after the Free National Movement released a 10-point plan to tackle crime.

Leader, Michael Pintard, calling for the hiring of more officers, modernization of the force, and prevention methods in addItion to other measures.

But, the prime minister says, the FNM’s plan is a reiteration of what his administration has already presented all the way back in 2011.
