NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The 56 countries that make up the Commonwealth celebrated Commonwealth Day on March 13.

Students taking part in special Commonwealth Day Assemblies throughout The Bahamas.

Prime Minister Philip Davis addressing students at St. Anne’s school, stressing the importance of small nations like The Bahamas having proper representation on the world stage.

This year’s theme for Commonwealth Day is forging a sustainable and peaceful common future. 

Prime Minister Davis told the students that it is never too early to start making a difference, encouraging them to come together for the greater good.
