PM Warns Unions Against Being Used As Political Pawns
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prime Minister Philip Davis warning unions to be careful, not to allow themselves to be used as political pawns, claiming that opposition leader Michael Pintard would downsize the public service. It comes amid a standoff between the government and the Bahamas National Alliance of Trade Union Congress, led by B-U-T President Belinda Wilson and BPSU President Kimsley Ferguson over issues involving a salary review for public servants.
