LONDON, ENGLAND – Prime Minister Philip Davis, the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the Annual Reception for the Caribbean Council at the House of Lords in London Wednesday evening.

The nation’s leader expressing upon the audience the need for reparations to The Bahamas.

Prime Minister Philip Davis noting that the country is still in its early stages of national development and when thinking of how they can engage with the country as investors or partners, they must keep in mind how the rapidly changing world impacts our country.

Prime Minister Davis adding that the government is also engaged in discussions relating to wider reparations.

As part of the evolved idea of The Bahamas that is now being promoted, he says all future developments must spring from a sense of genuine partnership.
