NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police officers visiting several businesses in the Palmdale shopping area, sharing tips with residents and the business community which is no stranger to crime.

Chief Supt. Anthony Rolle, officer in charge of Community Policing, says members of the public must work with officers to make a difference.

Rolle says there are still some missteps people make that increase their chances of becoming victims.

Chief Supt. Rolle is also encouraging residents and business people to take the time to learn where their nearest police station is located, as well as the name of their community police commander.

March is recognized as police month, and this March, the commissioner of police has also dubbed it as crime prevention month.
