NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police addressing a slew of concerns before school reopens for many Monday morning.

Coordinator of School Policing Chief Superintendent Chaswell Hanna says one of the main concerns of the officers this school year is the increase of marijuana edibles on campus showing parents the similarities between the packaging of the-infused edibles and popular candies.

He’s also encouraging parents to check their children’s backpacks regularly and stop them from bringing cellphones to school as they may encourage fights.

And whether or not you have kids to take to school on Monday, we’re all concerned about that back-to-school traffic.

Officer-in-Charge of the Traffic Division Chief Superintendent David Lockhart gave this advice.
