NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ahead of the new school year, Acting Director of Education Dominique McCartney Russell outlined some of the Ministry of Education, Technical and Vocational Training’s goals for the upcoming year.

McCartney-Russell speaking to the Office of the Prime Minister’s weekly press briefing shared that they’re focusing on curriculum reform, and a part of that means the expansion of Technical and Vocational Education and training offerings.

Mccartney-Russell added the LJM Maritime Academy will also be there, and the aim is to remove the stereotypes surrounding technical and vocational education and training.
