NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was an emotional farewell Thursday morning as Clint Watson wrapped up his time as Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister.

Thursday morning’s weekly press conference was the last that Watson will host as press secretary, now moving on as general manager of the broadcasting corporation of The Bahamas.

During the Q&A session, he was asked about previous critical comments he had made about working in ZNS, where he said he felt sidelined.

He says the people who were in charge at the time are no longer there.

As for his time in his role as press secretary, Watson says he gave himself a two-year timeframe.
