NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 31-year-old corrections officer has denied bringing marijuana and other contraband onto the prison compound.

Collins Rolle faced charges of drug possession with intent to supply and introducing prohibited items into a correctional facility when he stood before Senior Magistrate Shaka Serville.

While at the prison on February 20, Rolle was allegedly caught with 14 ounces of marijuana, a cellphone, two cellphone chargers and two earphones.

Rolle is free on $6,000 bail and his trial is set for June 4.
