NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Recent violent crimes have also gotten the attention of Free National Movement leader Michael Pintard, who is calling on the Davis administration to take a more comprehensive approach to fighting crime.

Pintard says not only should they partner more with stakeholders, he thinks a comprehensive crime fighting plan is long overdue.

The FNM leaders comments come after Commissioner of Police, Clayton Fernander recently said he believes the country will end the year with less than 100 murders. However, that hope was dashed after that South Abaco murder on Wednesday night.

Hours earlier in Parliament on Wednesday,  Prime Minister Philip Davis called on his fellow MPs to share advice on combatting crime so that the country does not lose a generation of men to violence.
