NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 62-year-old woman accused of sharing another woman’s nude video on WhatsApp is facing an intentional libel charge.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 62-year-old woman accused of sharing another woman’s nude video on WhatsApp is facing an intentional libel charge.
Prosecutors say Rochelle Forbes posted the video in the group Political Gab on May 9 to expose the woman to ridicule and shame.
Forbes denied the intentional libel charge at her arraignment before Assistant Chief Magistrate Shaka Serville.
She’s free on $1,500 bail and returns to court on February 16 for the start of her trial.
Forbes faces a potential maximun sentence of two years if convicted.
