NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bohan Adderley and Javado Bain Jr. are two Bahamians set to become professional baseball players.

The duo are both part of International Elite Academy.

Adderley is a rangy right-handed hitting shortstop standing 6’3″ 180 shortstop/3b with great power potential who can also run like the wind.

Bain fits the more typical Bahamian pro baseball player mold, standing 5’7″ with blistering speed.

He is expected to officially sign with the Toronto Blue Jays next week.

NBA
Buddy Hield and his Indiana Pacers overcame some funny business to squeak by the Boston Celtics 133-131 Monday night.

In the 2nd quarter the Pacers’ best player, point guard Tyrese Haliburton hurt his hamstring.

Down the stretch in the 4th quarter, the Celtics challenged some foul calls.

Buddy had 15 points off the bench to help the Pacers get the win along with four rebounds and three assists.

Benedict Mathurin stepped up in Haliburton’s absence with 26 points off the bench to lead the team.
