UNITED KINGDOM – Queen Camilla said she knew about king Charles’ cancer diagnosis days before it was made public and found it difficult to keep quiet.

Speaking in a video marking the 30th anniversary of the Cancer Charity Maggie’s, Camilla said that she was “longing” to talk about the king’s condition while opening a cancer support center in London, but knew it wasn’t the right time.

King Charles announced his diagnosis in February 2024, breaking with royal tradition by speaking openly about his health.

His candor has been credited with encouraging more men to get tested for cancer.

Recent updates say his health is moving in a positive direction.
