Rape Case Discontinued Against Senior Police Officer
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors discontinued a rape case against a senior policeman after his accuser withdrew her complaint on Tuesday.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors discontinued a rape case against a senior policeman after his accuser withdrew her complaint on Tuesday.
Superintendent Kyle Capron, 42, was charged with raping the 25-year-old woman last October.
Capron, who previously headed the K-9 Unit, spent a week on remand at the prison before he was freed on $9,900 bail and fitted with an electronic monitoring bracelet.
Capron had been suspended from duty pending the outcome of the case.
