NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is always prepared to respond to storm aftermaths.

And with the Department of Meteorology monitoring a system that has a 40 to 60 chance of development in the coming days, officers are still on standby.

Working with the disaster risk management authority, the RBDF says during crisis, communication is vital.

He says their method follows the P.A.C.E. acronym, which stands for primary alternative contingency and emergency.

And as marines continue to serve our country, some may even be called to Haiti soon.
