NASSAU, BAHAMAS – RCI’s Chief Product Innovation Officer Jay Schneider says regulations were met regarding the timing of when the supplemental environmental impact assessments were made available to the public.

At the Supplemental Public Consultation on the proposed Royal Caribbean International Paradise Island Beach Club, many of the environmentalists who rose for questions complained about the last-minute nature of the publishing of the supplemental EIA, saying they didn’t see the 118-page document until the night before, not giving them enough time to look it over.

Schneider says they’re continuing to do studies on the environment around the area, especially on coral health, and water quality.
