NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Residents in Mason Addition were left visibly shaken and distraught Monday night after a sudden late-night shooting.

When we revisited the scene, some were leaving the area hoping to take their family to safety.

This resident, whose identity we’re concealing for safety, says she lived in the community for years.

She recounted what she experienced as the incident played out before her eyes.

“…[I] heard like five shots just go ‘bap bap bap’, and then I saw one of the guys run from one house saying I got shoot, I got shoot,” she said.

Police tell us four men were shot and taken to the hospital following the incident.

Initial reports suggest that around 9PM a white and grey colored Kia jeep pulled up to a home on Whitfield road, when a gunman rolled down the window, and shot the men.

His bullets striking the 54,29,24, and 19-year-old victims.

Police say three of the victims conditions are classified as stable, while the fourth victim is in serious condition.

A resident told us her neighbors are good people who are never into problems.

She said it sounded like firecrackers but the reality is, it wasn’t.
